Training / Capacity Building Activities
On campus and Off campus training programmes, including ATMAsponsored for farmers, farm women, extension functionaries and rural youths were organized on different aspects viz. importance of SHGs for socio-economic empowerment in rural areas, use of mass media for agricultural development, importance of organic farming, insects-pests & disease management in different crops, latest avenue used for horticultural crops development, nutrition management, balance feeding in animals, care & management of pregnant animals, calf management, prevention and control of disease, awareness about Zoonotic diseases, importance of vaccination in animals, azola production for green fodder, women empowerment through SHGs, health and nutrition management etc., which benefitted to farmers, farm women and rural youths are as under.
